yes it just to be the case after system update 1.17 but the 1.18 released seemed  to have fix the problem for most  in my case i did a system restore erased the tablet to factory settings then installed everything again took about an hour or an hour and half everything works great here i have no issue of any kinds with my 905 so far  but i don't know what fixed it the restore or the update  also the 1.18 update seems to be having issues with eobd2 diagnostic let me know how it work good luck.

 I am also unable to connect eobd also since 1.18 update.  Just says maxisys stopped responding! No problems with wifi connection at all. 

  An update pushed through tonight that fixed the eobd problem as for the wifi problem I side loaded 

Hello, even after upgrading to v1.19 you can stil have problems with your wifi. Please
ensure that you do not have QOS in your modem/router disabled or this will cause you
problems with your connection, also the number of wireless clients will severely affect
your tablets connection.
